Ho Guan (Cupping Therapy)​

Cupping refers to an ancient Chinese practice in which a heated cup is applied to the skin and the pressure in the cup has a therapeutic effect on the skin and superficial muscle layer. Cupping is applied to certain acupressure points, as well as to regions of the body that are affected by pain.

 

We also offer Moving Cupping or Wet Cupping.


Gua Sha (Channel Scrubbing Therapy)          

$45 alone or $20 as an add-on treatment

Gua Sha is used regularly by practitioners and laymen in health care facilities and homes throughout China. The method of applying Gua Sha involves the layering of Gua Sha oil on the skin. This oil is enhanced either with healing herbs or essential oils chosen to aid the extraction of toxic waste. The skin is then scraped in the area of discomfort or at times on the entire body using a specific Gua Sha tool depending on whether the treatment is for physical or emotional healing.


Moxibustion​​  -Chinese Herbs Style, Magic Mud Style  or  Oils Style             $49+

An herbal stick is lighted to heat up various acupressure points in the body. It has the primary benefits of dispelling cold, promoting circulation and activating the points in the body. The choice of techniques and their combination will be recommended after consultation with the specialist.
